A pool game with direction and three button control. Button 1: Shoot Button 2: Spin and music menu Button 3: Mute (while in button 2 menu) Three varieties of pool available, 9- & 8-ball and straight pool. The 8-ball variety can be changed in the settings to "Euro 8-ball". 13 (some somewhat un-PC) Opponents: Trixie Shotz Jack Hammer Confidence Man Tex Shooter Pix Pocket Sumo Sa-me Rosa Stripes Cut Throat Jumpin' Johnny Joe Suzy Cue Major Domo Evil Eight Ball Nine Ball The game progresses as you would expect. You start playing against Trixie Shotz and each victory advances you through the ranks. If you lose you replay against the same player as before. Play is simple, you use the left and right control to aim and the up and down to view the table at a different elevation. Use button 1 to prepare your shot, wait for the power bar to reach the power level you require and press it again. If you wish to add spin to your shot then use button 2, move the dot to the desired location on the cue ball then press button 1. You can now proceed to set up and shoot your shot as normal. This is a pretty decent pool game for its time. You get a bit of game variety and each player does seem to behave slightly differently at the table. The game itself plays as close to real table physics as could reasonably be expected for a game of its era. The music is annoying though, but that can be turned off. Lots of replay value in this game too.
