Screamer is a arcade racing game, propably the most arcade one which was primarily made for pc! It has very nice arcade-like graphics, comparable with Daytona USA or Ridge Racer whith were popular at that time. The gameplay is not that arcade-like easy to learn, but on the other hand, you will have long-term fun, until you handle all cars perfectly. There is a nice but quiet rocky soundtrack, simple motor sounds and a motivating commentator. You start with 6 cars, each one with automatic or manual gear, considering that the manual gear cars are painted different and are slightly faster, you have allmost 12 cars and if you manage to win all the championchip (or you cheat) you get the rocket-car called 'bullet'. You start with 3 tracks and by winnig the championchip with different difficulty (or you cheat again) you can drive on all 6 track forward AND backward, so you have literally 12 tracks to drive on. The tracks are nice designed and very different with different sceanary: once you are on the beachside, once in a old city, in the desert or on a snowy hill. All together a very nice game which is worth getting trained on the steering. Hints: Never brake (sereously!) but step from the gas before there are curves; don't crash into the back of the other cars, but try to crash them in the front with your back, use the manual gear shift because its esier to controll your speed then, by shifting down instead of braking!
