Raptor is a scrolling shooter that was among the first DOS games that I played. Here you take the role of a fighter pilot that you give a name and callsign and fly a series of missions across three sectors. As you destroy enemy fighters, as well as buildings and bridges, you are given money that you can use in the supply room in between missions to purshase shielding as well as a selection of weapons for your fighter. As is normal for these games at the end of each mission is a boss whose health you can only see with an ion scanner. Overall, I find this game to be quite enjoyable and recomend it to everyone who enjoys this style of game.
