The Jazz Jackrabbit series can probably best be described as Sonic with guns on a PC. The basic plot: the evil Devin Shell has kidnapped Eva Earlong, princess of the planet Carrotus. You control Jazz Jackrabbit, a hero with floppy ears and a really big gun, in his quest to rescue Eva and save Carrotus. If you enjoy Sonic and the like, or even if you don't, give it a try. With bright, colorful visuals, loads of secrets, fast-paced gameplay, and truly mindblowing music, you could do a lot worse.
