Rolan's Curse II is a very straightforward hack n' slash RPG for gameboy in the vein of early Legend Zelda. The plot? A curse has fallen once again upon the land of Rolan, its up to you to journey across the land, solving problems by killing a boss near every town and collecting new party members and weapons. Instead of leveling through XP as in other RPGs in this you increase levels by finding character specific tokens hidden in treasure chests, that increase health, magic, damage, and sometimes weapon range. Music is fantastic as well personally one of the best Ive heard on the Gameboy. It's somewhat bare-bones & may not be to everyone's taste but I highly recommend to try it at least once.
