This game follows the adventures of Tara, a monster breeder whose goal is to stop her island, and ultimately the world from being destroyed. After a village bully accidentally opens the gap between their world and the monster realm, Tara decides to take up the quest nobody else will, by venturing into the monster world in pursuit of an item that can seal the breach between universes. The player may fight monsters and potentially have them join him/her, forming a team of fighters that level up and grow through experience in battle. The player may command three monsters at a time, others go back to the human world to be raised on a monster farm. The player may go back and pick up any monster previously befriended whenever they wish.
