Genre: ActionShoot 'Em UpSilpheed is a 1986 vertically scrolling shoot 'em up featuring 3D flat-shaded polygon graphics. Successive ports featured improved graphics but retained the same core gameplay. The Sega CD version in particular used pre-rendered FMV as backgrounds.
