As Chaozetsu Rinjin begins, we see immediately that it is very much like Rockman... after a few attacks and we can see elements of Akumajou Dracula, and by stage 3 we are underwater in a Gladius-like atmosphere. This game stole SO many elements from SO many games, and still couldn't compare to ANY of them individually. However, the game isn't "bad" You have several ways to attack straight, crouched, and on an upward diagonal and holding the button stretches whichever limb is attacking in a whip-like fashion enabling you to strike multiple enemies at once, or from a safe distance. The water levels have you equipped with a standard firing cannon and torpedoes that drop on an angle. As an overview I will say that this is a decent game for the casual gamer, and the hardcore gamer will enjoy the familiar elements as long as where they came from doesn't taunt too badly.
