Earthbound(USA)(Proto) is the first game of the Earthbound series. You play as Ninten, defeating enemies, protecting the lands, saving people from monsters, ghosts, zombies, moving lamps, Starmans, hippies, and so on, and getting money to use to pay for after defeating enemies. There are many things to do in this game.
