The Adventures of Rad Gravity is a comical action-adventure game where you follow the manliest man ever and his glorious chiseled chin across the galaxy as he retrieves stolen cyber-goods from a super bad guy. Controls were mostly responsive and I only ran into a few problems with doorways. Weapon/item selection was smooth and easy, too. Sound was, overall, obnoxious and irritating and I kept the game muted for the most part. Graphics start out impressive for the time but degrade drastically when entering planet levels. Levels mostly seemed blah and I felt like they were intentionally poorly done so it would be difficult to find ledges and other key elements. (Perhaps they dedicated too much of the budget to Rad's chin) Enemies were actually pretty cool, though. Like a fat guy flying in an octopus or weird super tall aliens. Some really interesting, and comical, design choices throughout. Gameplay is standard action platforming where you find ledges, jump on them, then find enemies and shoot/hit them until you reach your goal. The array of weapons was impressive and interesting and I feel like that's one of the highlights of the title. The game had a nice curve and I never felt like I hit a wall where the game became impossible. Overall, this is a hidden gem even if solely to laugh at. The mechanics are solid, the gameplay is smooth, the curve is balanced, and the chin is godly.
