Is a Otomate (Dating) game & visual novel: there's not much "playing" involed in the game as you mostly read. The game focuses around the captains of the shinsengumi, whom you stumble apon, get to know, court & eventually, fall in love with. Unlike "Hakuouki" this game takes a much more light-hearted tone on the Shinsengumi & doesn't necesarely keep close to any of the historical events that took place in Japans late 1900's. Since this game is in Japanece, you will need to know woh to read kanji/katakana.
