Gyakuten Saiban Jiten is an encyclopedia consisting of information from the first three Ace Attorney games, plus the DS exclusive case from the original game, "Rise From the Ashes". The encyclopedia contains character information and sprites, music, background images, and lists of evidence. The more new information the player reads into, the closer they get to unlocking extras. 30% unlocks opening cinematics, 60% lets the player watch credit sequences, 90% unlocks breakdown animations, and when you've read everything, a gallery of still images used in the game. In the BGM section, some of Gyakuten Saiban 3's music is missing instruments. A guess as to why this is, is that the .sdat file format, which is used to store all of the music on a DS ROM, can only store so many instrument files. This game was only released in Japan.
