The Rayman 10th Anniversary Compilation consists of 2 games; Rayman Advance (a port of the original Rayman game) and Rayman 3, based off of the 3D platformer for console. Rayman Advance is exactly what you'd think it is; Just the original game except with a couple of things improved like adding music to the levels, which is a nice touch. It's a cute and relatively simple platformer. The story is that the Protoon kept the balance of peace in the Valley, but Mr Dark stole it and scattered all the Electoons all over the world. Now it's up to Rayman to get the Protoon back and find all the Electoons to restore peace! Rayman 3 on the other hand is nowhere near its console counterpart. It is a 2D platformer as you should have expected, but it controls well and the graphics are nice and pretty to look at. However, I do not think the story is like the one from the console version, with many aspects being changed. The levels do not resemble the ones from the original Rayman 3 and so far, I have not seen any enemies making a comeback. Also, the robo-pirates from Rayman 2 are back...? Actually, the only thing that I think vaguely resembles the original Rayman 3 is the part where Globox swallows the dark lum. No, I'm serious, that's it. But otherwise, it's a solid platformer with very few issues and you should check it out if you get the chance.
