Battle Mania is a side scrolling shooter where players fly through the air avoiding obstacles and enemies while shooting down whatever gets in their way. The player can flip sides to attack things that are behind them and the game supports two player cooperative play. There are power ups and so on in the game as you would expect. The game is pretty much the same as many similar shooters such as Harmful Park or Sexy Parodius, but its own level layouts, enemies, and charm may be more to your liking than other side scrolling shooter games.
