I'm gonna try to describe this game as best as I can. Hong Kong 97 was made by the so-called HappySoft, based in Hong Kong. They actually wanted to ship this game all over the world, which explains the message at the start of the game. Well, that didn't happen, obviously. The game is about Hong Kong in the year 1997 being overrun by, and I'm quoting this from the game here, "f**kn' reds". Yeah. Anywho, the reds has the plan to resurrect the deceased "Deng Xiaoping" and turn him into a bio weapon. A BIO WEAPON. But no fear, the Chinese government called in "Chin" (he's Jackie Chan, really), the relative of Bruce Lee. Chin must kill all 2.5 billion red communists. If the plot summary doesn't tick you off, the game will. It's a basic, laid back shooter like Space Invaders. Chin will instantly die if hit, and the game goes on forever (or till you get 2.5 billion kills? I dunno). Once in a while, Deng Xiaoping appears as a.. Boss, I assume. The BGM is by far, the most ANNOYING music ever get in a video game, heck, in any form of media! It loops every five seconds and NEVER STOPS. If you play this long enough, you're gonna get PTSD. The game is bad. Don't play it. Ever.
