Tehkan World Cup !!!!! The game that started it all! The pioneer and the king of all coin op soccer arcade games! It was made in 1985 by Japanese programmer, Michishito Ishizuka, and released in January 1986. There are 8 national teams and you always play as red, however, no names are written for any team. So you can imagine for yourself :) For example, yellow team may stand for Brazil, blue team for Italy, sky blue for Uruguay etc. The gameplay is simple: you just take the ball, dribble all your opponents and score a goal ala Messi or Maradona !! Of course you can pass or make a cross but dribbling is the best choice for you in this game. Games 1, 2 and 3 are too easy to win. The 4th game (against blue team) is maybe the most difficult to win throughout the whole tournament and it is important to score first, so watch out! Game 5 is somewhat easy, game 6 (semi-final, against sky blue team) is the second most difficult game of the tournament and finally, game 7 (the final, against white-black team) is a tough game but it can be easily won if you play well. If you win all 7 rounds, you can see your players lifting the World Cup in the sounds of a great traditional song called "Jerusalem". Are you ready to become World Champion?!
