A game based on the long running British TV quiz show of the same name. 8 button control. A, B and C buttons to select options displayed on screen. A button is also used to select a tile in the picturebook rounds. Pass: passes on a question (can only be used once in normal play. In the final round can be used as many times as desired. Collect: Collects the current winnings and ends the game. Bonus: Continue: Allows one continue after failing on a question. The game has 5 different rounds, these are repeated in order 5 times before a final round is played. 1. Picturebook: Choose from 12 tiles, points vary from 1 to 3. A picture is shown and a question asked regarding the person displayed. 2. Specialist sport: Choose from three sports, points awarded range from 1 to 3. 3. Mystery person: A picture is slowly revealed and you have to pick the right identity of the person. 4. Home or away: Choose Home (1 point, question about British sport) or away (2 points, question about world sport) questions. 5. What happened next: A scenario is given and you have to choose the correct result of the scenario. Final round: 12 questions with a 1 minute time limit to answer all. Passing is always an option. If you answer all questions correctly then you win £20. All questions have a time limit of 5 seconds before failure. This game is fun and pretty challenging, although now very dated (all questions are from prior to 1993). It is a little unreliable on my version of MAME (0.196) and numerous times freezes or plain refuses to load. According to game literature there are 11000 questions available.
