Genre: ActionAdventureGalerians: Ash is a direct sequel to the original Galerians on the PSX. It follows on with the fight against the super-A.I. 'Dorothy' and her newly created and extremely powerful human clones. Whilst still having elements of puzzling and exploration the sequel is more focused on combat yet still retains an emphasis on its story - the fight for Humanity's survival, the rebellion lead by "Rion" from the first game and the moral ambiguities of cloning, religion and Artificial Intelligence. Whilst a strong game it does have some issues graphically and audibly, and does not look up to par, or sound as good, when compared to similar games of the time although the story does make up for it. 3.8/5
