U.S. Gold (or Tiertex, if in European regions) somehow had a "strange" favor to make an unofficial "sequel". For example, Human Killing Machine was an unofficial "sequel" of Street Fighter. This Strider II (Strider 2 refers to an official sequel made by Capcom) was a "sequel" of Strider. However, unlike HKM, there was console version of Strider II. The home computer version and the console version has different mission. In the home computer version, you must save the princess from the evil once again.
