The Seventh Star is a text-based adventure notable for its extensive use of humour. It was also the first Acornsoft adventure game to use sound effects. The player has just crash-landed on a distant planet and needs to navigate around, collect useful items and using them to help find a way to get home safely. There are numerous references to well-known contemporary science films and TV shows - most people will recognize characters from Dr Who, The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Star Wars, Alien, ET and many others.
