A nifty little skateboard game. Controls are directional and 2 buttons. Button 1 kicks and button 2 jumps. The cabinet used a spinner controller, so controlling with keyboard or joystick is a little clumsy. Using an analogue stick is quite easy to get comfortable with, once you have the sensitivity settings right. You start off choosing an experience level. Once you have chosen your level you are transported to an area with four shops (where you can upgrade your equipment) and four parks (where you earn the most points). Shops: Helmet, pads, shoes and board Parks: Ramp, slalom, jump and downhill You start with a ticket which allow entry to one of the parks and some money. You earn tickets by scoring points (by going to parks, and by doing tricks in the main area), if you don't earn enough points to get more tickets then you will not be able to get into the other parks and you will fail. You earn money by finding it floating around in the main area or winning medals in the parks. All in all it is an entertaining game and does keep me coming back to try and beat my best. It's quite tough though and not very visually pleasing, but there is quite a bit of variety in the parks' layouts as you advance through the game.
